1. Who we are

iCare Insurance is an insurance enquiry service based in Auckland, New Zealand. For privacy questions about this website, contact us by phone on 021 1652 333, by email at yvonne@icareinsurance.co.nz, or in writing at 91 Mackay Drive, Greenhithe, Auckland 0632.

2. What we collect

• Required contact details: your name and email address.
• Optional contact details: phone number and the message you choose to write.
• Conversation preferences: language and insurance topics selected on the form.

3. Why we collect it

The website form uses this information to deliver your enquiry to iCare and allow a reply. Do not use the form to send medical records, identity documents, tax records or detailed financial documents. If a later advice or application process needs sensitive information, first ask why it is needed and how it should be supplied securely.

4. Who we share it with

Website enquiries are processed by Cloudflare, which hosts the site and form function, and Resend, which delivers the form as email to the configured iCare inbox. The form does not send your enquiry to an insurer. Information-handling arrangements for any later advice or application service should be confirmed in the current disclosure and privacy information supplied for that service.

5. How we store it

The website does not create a client portal or database record from the form. A successful submission is delivered to the configured iCare email inbox. Ask iCare how long an enquiry email will be kept, who can access that inbox and how later client records are stored before sending sensitive documents.

6. Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020, you can ask whether iCare holds personal information about you and request access to or correction of that information. Email yvonne@icareinsurance.co.nz. You can also learn about privacy complaints from the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

7. Cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 cookies to measure page visits and understand how our content is used, helping us improve the website. Analytics cookies are on by default. You can turn it off using the bottom banner or Cookie settings in the footer. We honour a previously saved choice to turn analytics off. The page address sent to Google excludes query parameters and fragments, and the website does not send enquiry contents, names, phone numbers or email addresses as analytics events. Google may use cookies, device information and approximate location for this service and may process data outside New Zealand. You can decline or change your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. Declining does not affect the enquiry form. Turning analytics off stops future collection but does not automatically erase data Google already received. Advertising signals and ad personalisation are disabled. The site does not set a language-preference cookie. Hosting and security providers may process ordinary request data under their own service policies.

8. Updates

We will post updates to this page when our practices change. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent version.
